The WaterDAO is developing a verification system by which data from the water treatment project can be brought on chain by project developers. The aim is to allow for the transmission of water treatment data that qualifies for water credits, onto the helium network and for it to be stored in a WaterDAO database to ensure data cannot be tampered with or retrofitted.

A custom API will be developed that can receive project developer data and automatically bring it on chain to the WaterDAO database. This is a key step in the verification process. The process must be well documented and created in the most user friendly way possible to ensure that all project developers can easily utilize this feature.

This is a research and development project that requires a proof of concept in the actual production of water credits via the Florida treatment project. The goal is to implement this on chain.
